I was joking, Why would they warranty something that is working? All you can is ride it and see if it does it again. Hopefully if it does and even outside of the 500km, you can say I brought it to you and didn't fix. Hope for the best that it is fixed, and second they honor that.

What did they know when they dumped it?
harleys must be total POSs cause you can't throw a cat without hitting one for sale with less than 10k on it.

As I mentioned in the early part of the thread it didn't seem to leak if I had the steering pointed straight ahead or to the right. Both times it leaked was with the steering at full lock to the left. Not sure if it was a fluke or not. Could it mean something???

Spoke with the guy from the place I bought the bike from this morning. He said that they took the bike out again to see if it was throwing any codes or overheating and the guy took the computer with him ( I'm not sure what that means ). He said when the guy did come back it was leaking a little bit but nothing compared to what I experienced. I told him to check the radiator cap to see if it was holding pressure and he agreed that he would have his guys check. He just called me back and said they are delivering the bike back to me today and they tested the radiator cap and it wasn't holding pressure so they replaced it with a new one. I guess only time will tell if this was the cause of the problem.

Maybe ill let you know. I bought my current bike used with 13k mi. Had to replace the OE front tire and the OE voltage regulator crapped out on me. So far I'm out $600 in the last year and a half of unscheduled maintenance. I think Im still ahead of the game.

If the pump is working, and the cap is good, and still overheating, spewing coolant, it is likely that the pressurized coolant system has some air bubbles in it. This is something I learned the hard way.

Here's a video on how to take care of that...and it is a very specific methodology to get all the air out of the system.

btw, many miss it in the manual, coolant should be replaced every 30K miles.
