The fishtails are definitely a love them or hate them item!

I have never understood it myself.

Fishtails are okay on the old antique bikes and they look nice. But having the fishtails extending 10 feet behind the bike? or sticking up on the air? or chrome plated?
Nope.

Yeah a lot did it but 10-20 years you look like a bigger douche than you did in the timeframe.
BTW........why do you omit the second "H" in Germansheperd?

RTL LTR never was a thing for me.
Got a riding buddy that decked his Road King out to the max with it many years ago.
He use to get a good number of compliments on the bike.
Not so much in the last 10-15 years.

Didn't stop me from riding with him but we have both noticed not many seem to appreciate them anymore.

“German Shepherd” and “Germanshepherd” were taken back in the late 90s when I made my first screen name so I did what millions of people and thousands here have done I made it work and I use the same SN for everything.
Do you point out all the misspelled SN’s and give Hooked on Phonics lessons to the other thousands of people?

My '81 Low Rider came from the factory with the number 1 on the timing cover. A nice touch.

That is appropriate for that bike along with the cardboard underneath.
