I never had the above emblems on any of my rides. If you thinks it's cool on your ride, then go for it.

"Live to ride, ride to Live" was a scam to get yuppies to buy Harleys back in the 90's. When I bought my 93 Heritage it was loaded with that stuff. Derby cover, timing cover, headlight and signal eyebrows, all kinds of stuff. I ended up taking it all off and gave it all away to somebody on here on the board. Little did I know how much it was all worth. Oh well, hopefully I made somebody happy!

The #1 logo and the live to ride stuff was AMF. We called it Mexican Gold. If it floats your boat go for it.

I like em but if it's something out of style for today, I'll shy away from them.
I do admit they look cool mixed with the chrome on my bike.
Save your money for gas and hotels. 40 years ago bikes had that stuff and it was a waste of money then. Same goes for all the skulls.

I'm reminded of that every time I walk into my shop....

I saved this ad from a motorcycle mag, after buying my then new 1978 FXS Low Rider. I recently had it made into wall art for my little motorcycle shop.

The live to ride thing is not for me, but if it appeals then go for it.

Its a part of the whole Harley legend history story, just like the era of AMF.
I like the logo & dont give a rats **** what others think about it.
One thing I really dont give a rats **** about is following fads, fashions, styles of the day or whatever everyone else is doing just because every else is doing it.
”Live to Ride, Ride to Live” is what I do so I’m good with it.
