A few years ago I changed the oil in the forks of my 2012 Ultra to the Screamin' Eagle heavy fork oil because the front end was so "soft", particularly when 2 up. It stiffened them up so the didn't dive so much when stopping but it was too stiff and the ride sucked going over bumps. Then I tried mixing the heavy fork oil 50/50 with the stock type E oil and that's what I've done since. It performs well, doesn't dive hard when braking hard and is comfortable over bumps. It's worked so well for me that I haven't spent the money on new fork inserts. Just something you might want to try that doesn't cost much.
