The dealer I worked at (Earl Small's Harley-Davidson in Marietta Ga) always told their techs to adjust at PDI. If a customer came in after buying the bike in a given amount of time and had made no changes the bike would be repaired at dealer cost. Don't know how it is handled else where!

D$#% it!!! Knowing that my right saddle bag lid hit the seat from day 1, I went straight to the garage after reading this post. Plenty of clearance. But on further inspection........ Yes it did rub at one time (missing paint)Apparently when I installed the docking kit for the quick release I inadvertantly fixed this problem.
Too bad the $240 oil change at 1000miles didn't get this resolved.

have had the bags off a few times sence my last post and shure enough it doent take much messin to get them rubin again. re adjusted again and it will not be the last[:@]but its out of site and I bought this bike to be a road warrior,ride,and enjoy with out haven to worry to much
