Fingerless gloves are not gay. Some riders might be gay, but the gloves don't have a sexual preference. Right? Please tell me I'm right!

I haven't heard this, but it doesn't surprise me someone somewhere might conjure up such a notion. It amazes me how much biking has changed since the 60's. In those days we had "buddy seats," now called "passenger seats," and it was no disgrace to ride another man on the back with you. We did it all the time. Being unfazed by irrational stereotyping, I recently I asked a friend to give me a ride on the back of his bike to the HD shop to pick mine up, then we'd take a ride. He balked, but agreed if he entered from the back of the building and let me off there where nobody could see. How ridiculous can we get? If I rode with him in his car, what's the difference?

Despite what we think, I'm sure there are plenty of gay HD riders out there, so what of it? No, I'm not one, but if I knew a gay biker, which I don't, it wouldn't make any difference to me at all, that is as long as he kept his hands to himself.

I think they look gay...especially the tan lines they leave you with...not kidding; but everyone, including me is entitled to their opinion. Does it make the person wearing them gay?...no, just 'tasteless'

If the weather conditions call for any gloves at all, then I wear full fingered.

BTW: I feel the same way about fringed leather on guys.

 

Mine did the same thing, rinse them in hot water and squeeze them out then let them sit overnight in a 3 cold water to 1 white vinagar solution. That will set the die in the leather. If they still run do it again.

 

What started this? I think it was that Senator from Idaho! It's reported that he had fingerless gloves on in that restroom in Minnisota!!

I thought there was something up with all this leather stuff we have to buy to be a real biker!
Actually I use my fingerless leather gloves because I get less fatigue holding onto the grips on long rides, plus I can smoke my cheapo cigars and relight them easier too while riding.
Wonder if my weighlifting gloves make me gay too?
