Fuel pump fuse
I have a 97 Harley flhtcui..
I replaced the fuel pump last winter..
now I have no fuel pump and I cannot find the fuse to check..
last fuel pump stopped and then started working again3 times.. I didn’t need to check a fuse..
the only fuse block I find is two connectors with 8 fuses.. none of them say fuel pump..
well I have another little square fuse block too..

If you don't have an owner's manual take each fuse out and check both visually and with an ohm meter and reinstall if it looks good and shows continuity. After that you may have to go back into the gas tank and see if the ground or power wire is loose or making a poor contact. On my 08 Road King the ground connection inside the tank seemed poorly engineered to me though it never gave me any trouble.

Normally, FI with a fuel pump work with a fuse, relay, timer, and ECM. The timer is in the ECM and some old system relay.
When you first key on, the timer in the ECM or in a relay enables the ground for relay coil for few seconds to run fuel pump.
Some call it a prime or pressure build up to apx 65PSI but it's more for an indication all is good that you hear.
Now when you hit the start button, engine cranks over and when ECM locates position of timing from the crank position sensor, it enables ground of relay coils for ignition and fuel pump. Fuel pump runs all the time motor runs.
Some systems use a two relay system. One relay is controlled when it's cranking. Other by ECM in the on position of key switch as long as engine is sending the ECM signals from the crank position sensor. Problem with thus one is you can't hear anything.
Think you have the M&M system? Magnetic Marelli. There some good YouTube on it. You definitely need a good service manual.
System wasn't around long, not a lot of users understand it. It's actually pretty good and simple once you understand it, but part available is scarce and aftermarket is junk.

This might be of interest to you. It has a section on troubleshooting your fuel injection system. Check out page C-62 which showa a 15 amp fuse for the "Fuel Sys / Coil"
