I was talking with a buddy of mine and he said it kind of reminded him of more like a Smucker's Grape Jelly. I thought that was a bit out of bounds but, yeah, it really does. Smucker's is sticky...how could it be "the other fast color"???

 

Ah, I think I see the logic but jelly tastes good and so do cherries. Black is like burnt toast. Even with jelly nearby it can't be helped.

 

But a "Black" cherry doesn't sound too tasty.

Maybe if Harley named itDark Smuckers Cherry.

Then it would be better.

And, I kind of like "Burnt Toast Black" instead of "Vivid Black".

I'm hungry!

What makes Vivid Black so Vivid?

Black cherry is not purple. Purple has less red in it. Maroon or Burgendy would be other names for it.

 

I don't think it is purple, more like burgandy. I get complements all the time about my black cherry/black pearl UC.

 

Black cherry looks like eggplant....awesome color in the sun or shade....( jmo)

 

Sure don't see purple

 

Inever really cared for a purple bike untill HD came out with my bike color. I have owned every color bike there is and wanted a change, since I bought my "purple" bike I have had more people look at this bike then any othercolor I've owned. When I park my bikenext to a black or red bike mine gets more attention because the color is different.

I'm not sure of my point, I guess its in responce to you saying I hate purple and I needed to point out if you like the color but do not want to own a color that looks even a little purple because people will say "LOOK" that dude rides a purple bike he aint cool lets kick his azz, and trust me I know of people like that, I sayfok um get what you like. Black cherry, is more of a maroon or burgundy, then purple. Besides purple is a lame color
