For all of those looking for a LiFe Battery for you bike, Softail and Bagger, Optima has their LiFePO4 Orange Top batteries on sale right now.
I just grabbed one for $254(including tax). The OrangeTOP QUAD20 is 280$ normally, it's 229$ ATM.

I never really felt like the NOCO was a good idea after seeing all the failures and battery ruptures, but I've heard ravingly good reviews about OPTIMA's batteries. I returned that AGM and gonna try a LiFe battery. LiFePO4 is my favorite battery chemistry, coming from when I was into electric bikes and minivehicles. I hope it's just as good in a Harley.

Do you know where it's made? NOCO is Chinese. EarthX is USA.

When Optima AGM batteries were made in the USA they were extremely good batteries. Since moving production to Mexico about 15 years ago they aren't any good at all. I gave up and quit using them because they didn't last more than a year or 2.

Yeah, when Johnson Controls moved battery production from Milwaukee to Mexico the reported quality went to **** - shortouts, dead cells, plating out, etc. Then they spun off and called themselves "Clarios". There - it's all better now!

East Penn may have a lithium battery (assembled in USA), idk, be worth checking out.

btw, even if "made" in USA, they usually import Chinese LiFePO4 cells from China and ASSEMBLE the battery in USA, calling it "made in" USA. Assembly is important too, so at least look for that.

As bad as their AGM batteries are, they certainly don't inspire confidence in their lithium batteries.
