Solid Handle Bar Bushings

Solid Handle Bar Bushings
Hey Y'all,
I have been considering Installing Solid Handle Bar Bushings to my 2009 FLHTCU Ultra Classic.
I did a search and the solid bushings seem to get installed when Apes are installed.
My bars are stock.
To those that have solid bushings on their Baggers, please give your opinion on how well, or how bad they have affected your ride.
Thanks!
OOPS, Moderators, please move my post to to the proper section. Thanks

I put 14” west coast Tbars on my 15 RGS, when I did I put poly bushings in. I think the Tbars were slightly tweaked from the factory because I would get some twisting in the bars at full lock. It didn’t really affect riding but moving the bike at low speeds I’d notice it. So I switched to solid bushings. Got rid of all twisting. Vibration is very minimal. But if I were you, I’d try polyurethane bushings first.

I'll keep the polly bushings in for now or until the wobble in the bars gets real wonky. Right now it's tolerable. I do like the idea of solids though. All my other bikes (metric) were bolted onto the triple tree. I am not sure if the Goldwing had rubber mounted handle bars though.

I just recently changed stock bars for some KST 14", replaced clamp with a KST one, and bushings to poly. Although it does seem more solid, there is still some flex. I'd assume it's because of the height of the bars. On my previous bike, I did not change out the stock bushings and had 12" Wild1's. There seems to be a lot more flex with the factory bushings.
