Default flashing brakelights

Hi all,
Just picked up my new (to me) '06 FLHTPI yesterday, wow what a great riding bike! My only other experience with harleys was an old FLH shovelhead, can you say vibrate?
Anyway, on my last bike I had a flashing brake light, can't remember the name of it but it just plugs in where the bulb goes, and strobes to give the cagers a wake up call. Anybody know if this will work on the new bike?

thanx, Pauly.

it should! I had one on my 02 Sporty, but the vibration from the bike made the bulb break...I am trying to remember the name but can't..Kury has them in their book?? I think..Now I have to look around for one..I got my last one at the York Open House....

Back-Off Brake light Module works great and was easy to install on my DYNA. For touring models The Back-Off Wig Wag system is designed for bikew with two brake lights located side by side (like on the tour pack). J&P sells them.

Kurykan makes on, Back Off is a great one also, Whelan (the police/fire light) folks also have several availalbe.

You can also go on ebay and search for brake light bulbs, they are availalbe both in standard filamet, as well as LCDs.

Good Luck

Comagination also makes a unit about the size of an automobile flasher... http://www.comagination.com/bflasher.htm

I looked at the "Backoff" unit in JP Cycles and it specifically says in their ad that its not for 06 models with cruise control. Any one know whats up with that?

I also installed the Comagination flasher on the tour pak only.
http://www.comagination.com/bflasher.htm
Manufacturer built it strong enough to make all brake lights flash but I chose to do just the tour pak. I have the HD 69461-06Running/Brake/Turn Signal conversion kit also.

I have these and are very happy with. I had to add a heavier dutyload equalizerfrom Biketronics.
