tail light wiring help
The service manual is not helping in this situation. I need to completely remove the tail light so I can access the two bolts that hold the blinker bar to the fender. The two connectors (2 wires in each) that go to the blinkers will not come out. There is nothing easily visible to release them like the larger connector. Only thing the service manual says is disconnect the blinker wires. Doesn't tell you how.
Anyone done this and have the magic trick?

RE: tail light wiring help
I just changed my t/s bar. On the top of the plug is a small locking tab use a small screwdriver or a pick tool push it down and the plug will pull right out. Be sure to put the dielectric grease on the new plugs when doing the install it will keep the plugs from corroding and dont forget the locktite on the bar bolts

Remove the two screws that hold the taillight lens on and you should see the two connectors right there on each side of the large taillight connector in the middle. Stick your hand up between the wheel and fender and you can feel the nuts to remove. You don't need to cut and splice anything
