Wild1 508 handle bars?
Hello to all andI value your input. Having read many things of interest through this site, the great people on here haven't steered me wrong. I have read through here & searched & read some more & almost made the plunge to replace my handle bars on my 07 RKC. I don't like the way the original bars feel when riding & also don't like the way the clutch cable rests against the crash bars. When replacing the handle bars with the 508's and getting the longer cables, can i route the cables on both sides, especially the clutch cableso they are kind of hidden from view. Looking at the pictures i can see the brake & throttle cables go into the bar & down, but will the clutch cable do the same? Your help is greatly appreciated & I thank you in advance.

RE: Wild1 508 handle bars?
I went with the 508's on my '01 RKC - We put on 518's on my sons '5 RK... Like the way WO518 fit the wrist better more natural...
Cable routing - We looked at the same thing when we did the kids RKS... Could not figure a better route that wouldn't kink the cable??

I appreciate your respone & thank you. I had read your posting earlier of where you put those bars on. Could you tell me what it is that makes the difference between the two bars, in fell that is. The difference between the two bars is only a couple of inches in width & the pull back. The 518's are spread 3 inches wider& the pull back is not as long. Do you find a little more cramped with the 508's [wrists to close together] Also did you replace the cables with the longer ones? Thanks again for your input.

Here are the 508's on an '07 Road King. They have significantly more pullback than the stock bars, so they really sit you upright on the bike. With a backrest, I find them to be very comfortable for touring. We went with +2 inches on the throttle and brake lines and stock length on the clutch cable.
