Hey Guys. Rode to work last night, pulled into the parking lot not moving very fast at all, 5-10 mph & I noticed a very high pitched squeeling sound sorta like squeeling brakes on a car. I was'nt applying any brakes. It's like somthing (bearing?) singing out while barely moving. I can't remember if I had the clutch in or not. This is the second time it did this. I also don't know if it only does this while moving slowly, or if thats the only time I can actually hear it.
Any ideas?

I would ride it again and do it with the clutch in and out at a coast, that way you can hear good to see where it is coming from. If not drivetrain, check wheel bearings.

 

My bike does that and applying the rear brake makes it stop. Stealer says it's my brake pads but I'm not sure how they come to that conculsion.

 

Is your wife or girlfriend on the bike with you?

 

I payed more attention to weather or not it does it while the clutch is supressed. It does it reguardless. Clutch in or out. But it does stop when the bike stops moving. I'm thinking wheel bearings? Also, I was one up riding alone.
