Default 2002 FLHRC-I Fuel filter replacement

Dear Friends,
I have 2002 Road King fuel injected.
was just wondering, does it require to replace the fuel filter ?
If yes, how often and how to get in there basically.
thank you very much for support in advance,

Plenty of YouTube videos on it.
Not really difficult but the parts are a bit pricey.
My 03 manual says every 20,000 miles.

I have checked in my manual 2004 it is also stated there - so it is time for me to look into it.

Can someone more experienced let me know what else is needed ?
some gaskets, new screws etc.
and if that one will be the proper one - it is stated there that it fits 2002-2007 Road King

I assume I have Delphi injection system
Thank you!

I suggest as long as you're in there replacing:
The fuel pump pressure regulator housing OEM #62373-01
Top fuel tank plate gasket OEM #61402-02 along with the 10 screws for it OEM #10200374
Check Valve OEM #61408-00A
Also, do not use worm hose clamps inside the fuel tank.
ETA: I believe that 02 is the Delphi system. If memory serves me, they switched from the MM mid year 01.

It has both....

The sock is to keep debris out of the pump...

The filter cleans the fuel after the pump pressurizes the fuel...

The filter is #9, and the sock is on the bottom of the pump... that is if this full search comes through...
