Help-my goggles are CRAP!!!
Hey everyone,
I bought a set of goggles w/ the lenses that change out. I love them for daytime riding with the black lenses. I bought a 2nd pair for night riding so I wouldn't have to keep popping thelenses in and out. Problem is for some reason the clear lenses scratch like crazy (probably because of the bugs at night). I don't ride at night very often, but I have already scratched up 2 sets of clear lenses. I don't want to spend a lot of money on something for night riding since I don't do it that often... Help!!!

RE: Help-my goggles are CRAP!!!
Ianchris1, are you sure it's bugs and not how the goggles are being stowed? When I bought my '06 RK, I also picked a pair of the least expensive HD clear googles. They scratched too, but not from bugs, it was because I was tossing them in the saddlebag without putting them in their case. Dumb move on my part. They got tossed around a bit and picked up a couple scuffs/scratches. I really like these goggles and highly recommend them HD p/n 98206-05V. I'm just like you, my eyes tear up at the drop of a hat. These gogs do a really good job of keeping the wind out - for me anyway. I am going to get another pair and take proper care of them.

Well, I treat them the same as my black lens goggles. Same pair, just different lenses. Maybe because they are in the bags most of the time getting moved around with all the other crap while I am wearing the black lenses... I think that could be it! I will check out those HD goggles though. Thanks. I tried some HD before, but it was like wearing nothing at all. Useless! They were probably not the same though. Thanks again.
