6 speed shifting points
I know with different engines/torques shifts are different, and what the "manual" says by the way BUT...If you have a stock 96cu with a 6 speed please comment. I seem to get out of first around 20 mph or sooner. 2nd takes me to 35 ish, then 3rd to 50, 4th to 60, 5th to highway speeds and even at 70 it doesn't feel like it wants 6th yet... I am not an aggressive rider and baby my bikes when accelerating. AT WHAT SPEEDS DO YOU GUYS UPSHIFT AND DOWNSHIFT with this engine/ trans combo?

You say your not an aggressive driver and baby it while accelerating and bike is stock, so I assume your bike has good bottom end torque.
Sounds like to me your holding it in gear ranges way too long unless your way into the throttle.
If your on a 35 MPH street, are you always in 2nd gear?
