How many miles do you have on your stock Ultra? I've been reading the many posts on problems with the 07 Ultras and the many modifications made to correct them. I was just wondering who has the highest problem free mileage on a stock Ultra. I'm excluding heat, clatter and pinging. I have 4300 miles on mine since July.

 

Purchased my '07 Ultra mid-March, 2007. Had the Bassani pipes put on right away. Remainder of the mods were done at the 10,000 mile service in mid-June, 2007. So 10,000 miles on a basically stock bike.

 

got about 6K on my UC with the only problem being work, which prevents me from riding more miles on it.

 

I also find myself thinking about riding while working. I just love my bike. My first Harley. I love the stock sound. And I get a lot more looks than on my other non-Harleys.

If you like the non Harleys but want more looks like I did, do the following:
Die your hair three bight colors.
Tattoo the left side of your face.
Hang some of those bull nuts off the back fender.
Get a white chihauha, die it orange and black and put it in the hardbag with a hole in the top.

The only problem I had with this is I lost my job as a greeter at the Wal Mart and my wife left me cause she can't stand being seen with me and the orange dog trailing behind at the mall. I can change the hair color but that tattoo was a big mistake. T.

 

21k on my classic. no prob other than intermittent low idle/stall

 

not an ultra, but classic. purchased in mid-May and put 7K stock and 3K stage 1. scheduling my 10,000 insp next week.

 

5k on my 07 Ultra with a 2.5k trip scheduled for the fall. Still pleased!

Picked up my '07 Ultra the end of Oct. '06. Had the 10,000 mile service performed the end of July. Rode to Sturgis from Dallas. Returned via Cody, WY, through Bighorn National Park, Grand Teton Mountains, Yellowstone Nat'l Park, Grand Canyon, etc. Gone total of 2 weeks, 5000 miles. Bike ready for 15,000 mile service. No problems.
