I think the Chrome Display Stand is easier to use. 99002-97A. From what I've seen it doesn 't try to lift the rear wheel.

I have this stand on my Ultra, and use it frequently (pretty much whenever I'm parking on level ground and always when in the garage). It doesn't lift the rear wheel at all, but does keep the bike standing level. I use the rear crash bar while still straddling the bike to pull it up on the stand. To get off the stand, I just drop it into first gear and let out the clutch. Bike is on the stand in pic below.

You might want to consider the EZ-Up centerstand as found on the WheelDoc website.

Ditto on the display stand... makes it easier to store the bike in a tight space.

After a few attempts you'll get onto the stand easily, and it rolls right off.

It does NOT allow you to lift the wheels off the ground but that is what bike likts are for.

I just put the HD adjustable rear stand on my Ultra. A little bit of work to install cause you have to loosen up all the exhaust connections in order to pull it out of the way to get to the right hand mount bolt. Other than that the install was no big deal. HD says to support the engine when you remove the lower swingarm mount bolt and I did but I think they are just playingit safe, nothing seemed to tryto shift. I have mine adjusted so that the rear wheel is just barely off the ground. Yeah, it takes a little effort cause your lifting an 800 plus pound bike but when you get the technique right it's not a problem. I'm used to putting my Suzuki Bandit on the center stand and the Harley is about 20% more effort but that's cause of the additional weight. I love being able to clean the rear wheel and check the air without having to roll the bike to several different positions.
