Default Road King Driver's Backrest

I'm doing some research for a company that is thinking of developing this product for us Road King riders.

Who would be interested in a driver's backrest that would work with the stock two-piece seat, the solo seat, orthe slotted one piece seat? It would sell for $100 and has a chrome support bracket that easily mounts to the two screws that hold the driver's seat in place on the fender.

It would look something like this picture, but the support bracket would be shaped slightly differently.

Will they offer a fold-down model? My wife rides with e sometimes, so I'd need to have one that will allow her, easy access to her seat. If so, ME

I'd rather have this one. That slides in out of the mounts quickly, instead of a unit that I have to bolt and unbolt.:

Good luck, though. I'm sure they will sell.

Not me. It has to be removable. I like the physical contact with my guest. I even know how and when to tap the breaks just so.
/yes, I'm a dirty old man.

The one I bought from H-D (52914-98A) for $200 works great for long hauls. It mounts/dismounts quickly, and is adjustable. If yours is half the price, then it looks like a winner!
