Default FLHRC Road King 2002 - Oil Pressure Gauge

Hi Guys,
as I have received already a lot of great support here, decided to ask for more
I have went through cam tensioners replacement on November last year.
Basically, except all the other stuff I have replaced, there is a new oil pump.
I would like to monitor my job, and double check if the pressure given is proper.
I have found the gauge that can be installed on the rocker box.
DO you use such stuff ? Is it comfortable to ride ? does it disturb during the ride ?
maybe, as more experienced you have the better places for this stuff.
All support will be highly appreciated.
Basically that is the one I am looking at : https://malyhd.pl/bagnety-wskazniki-...ju-li-025.html

Thank you in advance.

If you are going to use that setup, I would get rid of the plastic hose and find some fittings to change it over to braided one.

As @jake24lt said, replace the plastic hose.
Other wise, that should work fine depending on where your right knee is when you are riding which is different for everyone base on your height, seat and other factors.

Hi, I assume this is some kind of heat resistant hose. If not, for sure I will have to change it for something more safe.

I will have to try it first maybe. - attach and seat on the bike before I will permanently screw it in.

Thought about on my 07 rk , the reason I did not is because the gauge mounts on the back rocker box and I have the tight heats shields and I refuse to remove them.

rk classic.

Yes, I saw this could be a challenge. Some of the guys even cut the shields.
I do not have any in my bike, so it shall fit nice and easy.

Ok Comming back to the topic.
I have ordered the gauge and it has arrived.
that is ok.
I have my doubts as mentioned previously about the connecting pipe. Basically it is not about the pipe itself, it is made of nylon and shall be ok with temperature and pressure.
my problem is that I do not trust into the way the fitting for this pipe is made.
Pressure goes up to 40 PSI let us say - approx 3 bar.
and these are some kind of small nuts with bevel in it. I am not quite sure if this will be tight enough.
some photos to show you the mounting of the pipe

Looks like standard compression fittings to me. They'll seal just fine. Still, those braided steel lines look SO much better.

I used fittings like that back in the 70s on my built '67 Mustang Fastback and '64 442 oil pressure gauges... Never had an issue....
