Default 21" front wheel & ST front fender?

Quick question.. I have a stock ST front fender on my non ST Road Glide. I will be replacing my wheels and the wheels I want, the front only comes in 21"..

Will the 21" tuck up under the ST front fender? Has anyone tried? I no longer have my stock front fender, and the reason I ask is the ST front fender definitely looks like it hugs the wheel more. ??

Any help is appreciated.

Can you fit a 1" piece of something between your current wheel and fender?

Gonna be more like 1 1/2" total clearance . I have a 21" wheel on my King and the common tire size for the 21" wheel is 120x70/21, so the diameter diff is about 2 1/2". He'll need the extra 1/4" for tire expansion when hot and in case an errand rock gets in there.

Front wheel and fender not currently on bike.. going by memory. Best guess it will not work, was checking if anyone had experience with it working. Thanks.

So what tire size you currently have? Your forks stock? Your sig says you have a built 2020 RGS, so I guess all bets are off. As I understand, both the 2022 RG ST and 2020 RGS have the same stock front tire size, thus the comparison above.

Bike is going through some more changes.. currently up on lift.

Yes, stock size front wheel 19”.. front wheel & fender off and I don’t have the wheel right now or I’d have it figured out.

They sell fender risers that will probably become invisble next to your new chiny wheel. Might be worth a try before spending on a new fender and paint or to mock up for the next fender..
