Nice Yob Pops! You have done your good deed for the week and saved a couple money.......We all know they would have eventually ended up on an HD anyway.....

Alot of salepeople, if they don't think you "look" serious, they won't even talk to you. I had a multi-millionaire friend that was in the Tire business. He went to the Mercedes Dealer wearing his "shop" uniform. He had to go into the showroom and drag a salesman out to the lot to help him. The salesman was a little taken back when he paid cash for that German POS. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

Yep, I had that happen just before I bought my Ultra. I had been to a dealer down in Mobile, AL a couple of times to look at bikes, see what new ones they had, etc. I went in one day and saw one I liked but waited for over an hour while everyone ignored me. I wasn't too upset, they were a 'little' busy but what took the cake is when a saleman (who saw me looking at the bike for a LONG time) walked up to a couple who had just walked in the door and asked could he help them, I just walked out. Went to Birmingham the next weekend and plunked down the cashola for the one I had already looked at they had. Sure helped me make my decision on where to buy. What's really sad though is, most of them don't care because they'll sell what they have because of quotas, demand, etc. but they sure as hell won't get my money!
Dang, I forgot all about congratulating you Papa on the good deed...way to go bro! You probably made some life long friends or at least life long HD riders!
Papa T - my best friend works at T-Bird, sold bikes for a while did really well he tells me but got tired of all the hours. He is now in the service department. I'll ask him and let you know.
