Default Who makes the most comfortable solo seat for touring?

I have a ‘21 Road Glide Limited with a police seat currently. I like it, but it isn’t super comfy last the 2-3 hour mark for me.

It seems all of the most comfortable seats that people talk about are two-up seats.

What do you guys recommend for a solo seat? Preferably one with a backrest, but that’s not a deal breaker.

Are they comparatively comfortable to the 2-up seats? I don’t particularly WANT to move my tour-pak back, but I will if it’ll save my back.

Is any particular year CVO seat better than the others?

Mustang Super Tour solo with backrest. It does move the rider back about 1.25” and up.

I prefer solos for riding...solo. My wife prefers the stock seat over the pillion, so I am going to have to do something different if she is going to continue riding with me.
I would pick the C&C over the CVO, I only went with the CVO because the C&C was 6 months out. I went with the red diamond stitched 2019 seat and pillion, same year as my bike

I’ll look into that one. Moving me back isn’t ideal, but up isn’t an issue. It’ll probably still be lower than the police seat that I have right now.

Yeah, 6 months isn’t ideal. I wonder if the CVO seat can be modified by Mean City Cycles. They’re only a couple hours from me.

It depends on the seat cover, I think. I know they can’t modify my police seat because there just isn’t enough there to work with.

I shot them an email.

backrest is fully adjustable on the fly so sometimes I scoot up in the seat and adjust the backrest forward if I need to straighten up and sit up more.
