Default 07 Street glide front brake issue

Ok, quick question. Only have about 250 miles on my new street glide and the front brake sounds like its sticking. Has that light grinding sound like sand between rotar and pad but its not sand. When I visually inspect the brakes it doesn't look like there is much if any clearance between the pads and the brakes. It just started doing this. Any suggestions or others that have experienced this? Gonna have to call the dealership on Monday but thought I would try this forum first. Always seem to get best information on here. Thanks

If it,s like my 06 Ultra its done that since new. 17k miles and it still does it sometimes. I,ve read where the pads, calipers need to be cleaned every 2500 miles for that reason. So far, it has not caused any ill effect on my brakes. I still have about 3/16 " brake pads left.

It didn't do it until yesterday. Brakes still work and sound goes away when you start to apply the brakes

Got to be a way to get rid of it. Didn't do it for the first 200 miles. Maybe ajust gap between pads and rotor?

My '07 SG did this until I changed pads to EBC Kevlar (organic). The noise perplexed me when the stock pads were on the bike, and I'm still not sure why the noise disappeared with a pad change. I installed HD floating rotors at 1400 miles and the noise didn't change. The EBC pads were installed at 8600 miles, and the bike now has about 9600.

I think there was a PM on swapping the rotors from right to left. Check with your local dealer.
