Default 98 Road King front 21" tire rubbing fender guard

Looking for some advice on my RK, have full air ride suspension so I don't think fender spacers would be a good idea from reading other forums as it would hit and smash the fender on a big pothole etc....I know that I could remove the fender guard and my problem would be solved but I like the look of it too much to take off. Running a 120/70-21 tire....hope one of my fellow Harley riders have an answer...thanks in advance
oh yeah I also already drilled out my fender holes and tilted....but in my case it's making the issue worse by tilting.

Can you post up any pics of the rubbing?

Might be custom fender time?

Someone might chime in with an easy bolt on solution, but it looks like you might need a custom fabbed guard. At the very least, get yours worked on.

There are enough Harley Donks out there that Im sure SOMEONE has addressed this before.

I think you can control the air in those shocks so it won't bottom out, but I could be wrong. From the pic, it looks like the fender would hit the triples now with risers.

If you want to keep the guards just file the inside to clear the tires and do a bit more as the tires expand a smidge when they get hot from riding.

Maybe slot those holes in that guard so it pushes it out a bit. Not sure how its attached there, just my 2 ¢

correct the air ride you can control but that's not the issue...its the fender guard and I've filed down the bolt on the inside towards the front of the fender already

I've thought of that but i would have to rebend the front tab that is attaching to underneath the fender.

Just take the guard off, in my opinion would look better.

apparently you didn't read my initial post about not removing it...appreciate your opinion but unfortunately it's not what matters.
