Exhaust question

I had heard alot of good things about fuel moto, so i gave them a call and sent a few emails. Every response I got was different? They were also very general in their answer when I specifically spelled out what I wanted information on. Wasn't a difficult question either. I'm glad others have had good interactions with fuel moto, but unfortunately I can't say the same. Very dissapointed.

Probably because you weren't calling about their product, you were calling about the effects of modifying a part. Companies don't have time to give just give advice. I can understand why they would dance around the issue. In a nutshell they are saying 'you havn't generated any revenue for us yet, call us back after you've made a purchase'.

Removing the cat will not cause any immediate problems. The O2 sensor will adjust and mostly keep the bike from running too lean. At idle, low RPM and accelerating, the bike will run lean. This will cause the motor itself to overheat. How much so depends on your riding style.
Also, you need to consider your warranty on an M8.
Finally, the cat is probably the single most expensive part on the bike. At last look, the contents of the cat go for: \
Platinum: $900 per ounce
Palladium: $790 per ounce
Rhodium: $850 per ounce
Also, you need to consider your warranty on an M8.
