Wanted to put at least 500 miles on the FLHXS before commenting. I replaced the stock windshield with a 7" from Freedom Shields. For reference I am 6' 0". I can't say enough about how happy I am with the quality of the product. I don't think I realized how much of a difference it would make, it has eliminated any wind buffeting I was experiencing.

@Keithhu Ok, I have to ask, it looks like you have a black jiffy stand. The HD website says no deal for my bike. It's been annoying me for three years and I want a black one, what do you have?

 

Well, it came on the bike, and it has a part number, so you can order it, I presume.

Edit - I just checked, it's not black. Now I'm outraged!

I made you go look! I know Drag Specialties makes one, but for this bit, I just don't trust anything other than OEM.

Yes, that is what I hear people recommend. Maybe I'll get a Wheeldock chock and do that over the winter.

 

My neighbor powder coated his. Cheaper than if HD sold one for sure.

 

Is the 7” Freedom windshield taller or shorter than stock; and if so, by how much?
