That's right off of Idaho 12 just before you cross from Idaho to Montana. Missoula is just down the road. Great ride from Lewiston ID to Montana, hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Yes. I had left Hell's Canyon that morning and was on the way to Chief Joseph Pass and back to Yellowstone. Just made it to Missoula at dusk then another 30 minutes down the road to the best Motel 6 the next town had to offer.

Just checked in at my Motel in Chester CA right outside Lassen NP. Dropping off a bunch of stuff, heading over there after a brief coffee break.

I just stopped for the pic, had to turn around and go back to the entrance as I blew past it the first time. There's some cool places to see in the United States but most of the magic starts west of Kansas.
