Get the touring suspension air pump. Part Number 54603-03A $39.95 on page 457 of the 2006 HD catalog.
A normal tire gauge is not going to give you a very accurate reading, and any compressor is going to give you too much air, which could blow the seals in the shocks. This tool has a hand pump and gauge, plus a bleeder. You can very easily and accurately adjust the air in your shocks with it.
