Default 2007 Harman-Kardon Advanced Audio Help

On a 2007 Ultra Classic how do you get the Intercom to work?

I turn the Intercom on, adjust VOX +/-, PTT but the mike is dead. The radio works okay, but I am too dense I guess to get the intercom to work. I have tried PTT and just speaking but no results. Am I missing something? Thanks.

I am sure if you push the second dash switch next to your passing lamps switch all the way toward the front of the bike you will be able to hear and transmitt.

Let me know if this works.

It should show little inicators on your stereo screen, like speaker ,cb and so on.

I turn on radio, push INT, turn on INT, set both front and rear volume to about 1/2, set VOX senstivity to about 1/2, then go back to radio screen. INT is at the bottom leftof screen. When I just talk nothing happens like dead mike. When I PTT the radio volume is decreased, and the INT at the bottom left corner ishighlightedbut when I talk it just like before, like a dead mike. I have tried all combos with the SKR switch forward, center and back still nothing. I have swapped helmets and headsets still nothing. Either I am missing something or the Intercom is not working. Any more suggestions? All this is while the key is in the accessory mode (not ignition).

The only thing I can think of is to try it in the ignition mode or even run the bike. Do you have a manual or have you exhausted all possibilities from that?

Yeah, I have a manual. I am following it step by step, but they can be confusing too. I'll try it tomorrow in the ignition mode while the bike is running. Thanks for the help. I'll post back to relay the remedy (BFH). Again, thank you for the help.

Not true..... The PTT is used to manually activate the mics in either CB or INT mode. VOX is just a seperate control for the mics that is voice activated.
