Added an external head breather
I used a DIY, DK Custom’s external breather, with a catch can, today. I have a Fuel Moto AC/DC intake, which is basically an S&S Stealth, re-badged. I couldn’t get the basic setup, because my intake requires drilling and tapping, into the intakes housing, to create new vent passages.
I removed my intake, and determined where I needed to drill the 11/32” holes. After drilling the holes, I had to tap new threads, to install the hose barbs. And once those were installed, all I had to do was run the hoses to inconspicuous places. The catch can fit somewhat snuggly between my oil cooler and engine guard, on my left side. I may move it later, but, I was trying to stay away from extreme heat sources, but keep it hidden. Not an easy thing to do.
It might be just my imagination, but, it feels as though I have slightly better throttle response now.

I did the same , hardest part was drilling and tapping , instead of using standard hose clamps , I used compression clamps , really cleans things up . The only problem , is you have to have the correct tool to use them , I already had it from doing a lot of irrigation work . I only ran my hose out to atmosphere , not a lot of oil coming out , so not worth the catch can .
