Disagree. You should able to drain homes on case you want to do work. Like change water heaters. Not just seasonal homes. Boilers should also drain back to boiler.

Around here when a residence wants to be drained, a small air compressor is hooked up and pumps non toxic antifreeze throughout the system...
Not sure how you backyard plumbers do it....drain to low point and leave pockets of water in places to freeze.
Boiler lines have drain valves installed on each run, not all pitched bass akwards like you insinuate.
No wonder you succeeded as a flunkie, and never progressed.

There is a reason I passed my tests and received my Master's Licenses in both plumbing and heating, and you became a flunkie because you couldn't pass your Journeyman's license tests.
Drain, Waste, and Vent...all part of the plumbing system...no problems on my behalf.
Now get back to your useless topic, so others can hand you your ***....
P.S. While at the Bar Harbor Water Division, I passed the testing for my Class IV Distribution and Treatment Licenses.....
