I'm not saying you're wrong, but have you prices aftermarket fenders? The Hogworkz fender I got was nearly $700 painted a solid color. That's really not bad considering the paint job on it. But, I wouldn't buy it.

Take your bike in to a reputable painter and tell him you want that paint job. Be far less expensive. You can send your tins into the company that does the painting here for Harley as well. They'll also be happy to paint them for you at a good price. Have you talked to your dealer? Maybe they'd be willing to work with you on that bike if you just bought yours. Don't know unless you ask.
Or if you trade your bike for one of those, the money you'd have to eat from trading it back right away would be FAR less then buying the paint set, or getting it painted.

You'll spend serious money buying all new painted tins...very serious. You'll spend plenty getting a custom paint replica. In both cases someone has to do the physical removal and replacement of all the painted parts. You? A shop?
For the amount of headaches, heartaches and dollars considered, I'd make a strong case to beg mercy on the dealer for a solid trade to get the bike and paint you really want. You'll take a hit in the wallet but very possibly less than going the other route. You'd save yourself a LOT of effort for sure.
