With the money they are paying for trade ins I would go that route for sure. Yes you will eat it but not as bad as the other way and if you need to sell it, it will be easier. I have asked several dealerships about the APEX paint and most say the same thing, "they will be lucky to get one of each model this year with all of the delays lately" Does anyone know how long they will offer it for? Into next year? Because I have one reserved right now but will gladly wait for a 2023 model instead of a 2022 model. This year is practically over anyway.

I imagine it will be limited to this model year. Besides with next year being the 120th anniv, I'm sure they will have one or two choices of special paints. And they will probably cost 50% more than the Apex paint. Not a dig. Just being realistic.

Don't know unless you ask.

Or if you trade your bike for one of those, the money you'd have to eat from trading it back right away would be FAR less then buying the paint set, or getting it painted.
Who are they?

That's the only reason I took this paint supplement, for plain faded out gray I would never pay $3700 supplement for this in the EU. Also don't think there is a special painter that will do this job at the price of a new tin set
or it should go to the decal route with clearcoat over it.

The HD logos are a nice touch. But to be honest the first thing I thought of when I saw the paint was a video from a guy I sub to on YT. He had his bike custom painted about a year ago...

Now obviously his has a silhouette vs an actual emblem. It looks eerily similar though. Sure it's probably just a coincidence, but inspiration can come from anywhere I suppose.
