2014 FLHTP. Purchased it in early 2022 with 4500 miles on it. It was a neighboring county sheriffs dept bike. They had 3 of them and decided to discontinue the unit (I’m told) and sold them to the local dealer.
Here it was when I got it:
Work I’ve done so far:
- Installed 10” KST six bend bars
- lighted switch controls
- installed Reinhart 4” slip-ons
- Installed Soundstream HDHU14+ and Hertz fairing speakers.
- installed windshield storage pockets
- installed lower fairings
- installed cruising pegs
- installed floorboard extenders
- installed locking fuel door lock
- installed windshield trim
- installed new freedom shield (a couple of times).
- removed factory pack mount and converted to 4 point docking
- installed brake light, taillight bar and license plate bracket from newer standards.
- switched to LED bulbs
- purchased chopped tour pack and solo mount. I’m in the process of gathering up the pieces I need to mount that up now.
Mocking the tour pack up.
That’s all for now.

Was able to grab a clean example of a Police bike. 1992 FLHTP with 16k miles. Was sitting in storage for almost 18 years after being decommissioned for new models.
Only work that had to be done was new fork seals, carb tune, and had to locate a new seat air shock. My local dealer sourced 2 new old stock in the Midwest so I bought them both. Has all flasher relays and lights work as should. Only thing missing is a siren for the highway bar. Trying to restore this bike one day at a time

Can anyone tell me what color wires are coming out of the "pursuit" switch. I looked at the diagrams posted (which are great) but haven't figured it out. (lots of wires - my eyes were swimming) Since I removed a bunch of aftermarket wiring, I lost my headlight high beam and my running lights. I know they were connected to the pursuit switch - if it was off, they were off. If it was on, they were on. I didn't like that btw. But for now, I suspect a prior owner used the pursuit switch, along with the aftermarket fuse block, to make the lights work and I just want to get my lights back. As mentioned earlier, I ditched the fuse block. I don't need it.
I also saw a "stealth mode" on the wiring diagram, which I believe kills the lights. I will look further into that. But I don't know what switch operates that. Or if it was optional and maybe I don't have it? I have two toggles under the bars and I haven't traced those out yet - hard to get at.
Eventually I just want the lights to work like a standard non-cop bike. It will be Part 2 of my work on the bike. For now I am getting a cop seat back on and everything put back together. That and fluid change. I would like to close out the summer riding, not fixing.

Orange/Violet = position 7
Gray/Black = 8
Green/Red = 9
Those are the positions in the connector (22B) from the right hand controls for the pursuit switch
If you look at the wiring diagram link that I posted earlier it's on page 13 of 14.

2011 FLHP-completely stock, never in service, now at 52K miles, 103 stage II, SE 255 cams. For exhaust, took a very large drill bit to stock mufflers and made them sound deep. Then dynoed. Added HD fork fangs since the picture, very good quality and very effective. Also came with square type mirrors, so very similar to the green 1992 FLHTP in general looks, including fender tip light.
