Running Light Ground wire broke

Running Light Ground wire broke
Need a little help. I have a 2007 Ultra Classic. The other day I noticed one of my running lights was out. Naturally I thought the bulb was bad being a 15 year old bulb. I ordered a new LED kit since I'm upgrading. To my surprise the ground wire completely broke off from the inside of the running light housing right at the rivet. I tried to solder it back on but soldering isn't sticking to the housing or the little lead that was used originally. I don't want to drill it out as I think that will cause issues with water/moisture. Anyone have this problem and what did you do to ground the light? Thanks,

I guess at this point I might have to do that. The wire is fine it just was originally riveted to the running light housing. There are four it looks like rivets that hold the running light and blinker to the front end. Like I said I'm worried about water and moisture getting into the light and causing bigger issues.
