Default Raising compression on 103

Hopefully I'm not wearing out my welcome but I want to do this the right way from the get-go. 2013 flhx, stock bore, heavy breather, dresser duals with cfr slipons and yes I know they lose a lot of hp/torque but I'll continue. I did a 32 tooth compensator sprocket and will be adding a set of Chris rivas rocket cams .574 lift to it and probably modify my factory headpipe after gutting the cat and making it into a 2-1 or buying a d&d. I want to know what all is involved besides removing the cylinder heads to install .030 headgaskets to add even more power. Is it a pita or should I just leave it alone and just enjoy the cam swap? My s&s 117 will blow the doors off a m8 128 I'd like for my 103 to run somewhat like the big dog but I also don't want to run into having to mix 93 and 110 to keep detonation at a minimum. I've found out I can't reuse my pro super tuner due to the epa bullshit. Everything I've found says the 2nd I update it it will be to epa specs which does me no good. And after I install the cams will I be able to start it and ride it some before hauling it to a dyno shop 40 miles away or will the power vision get me close enough that I won't have to worry
