RE: Graded highway feels funky
One cure, Since your in OKC, go to 26th and south Agnew, to the Motorcycle tire store and have Avon tires put on, the do not track like Dunflops, and they last longer. They only charge 15 dollars to mount and balance the tires he sells, last tire change it cost me 309 bucks tires mounting and balance. In my opinion Avons are the best.

RE: Graded highway feels funky
Without seeing the grading, my guess is they are planning an asphalt overlay.
If so it should be done in the next week or so.
Very common procedure.
Front feels light because in effect you have a much smaller tire footprint contact patch on the road.
Tire is only contacting the high spots of the grading, not the deeper pits.
for now, slow down and ride at your own safe pace.
Speed limit signs are MAXIMUM unless otherwise posted you can drive much slower.
Just becareful of traffic coming up behind you.
