Hi all,
I have a brand new 22 FLTRXSE and I am not able to use the interkom.
I paired two HD 30K Headsets to the bike.
Audio is played through the headsets without any problem.
I am not able to get into the interkom-menu and so I can not switch interkom on.
The menu button is grayed out even when both headsets are connected.

What I did:
Updated both headsets to latest firmware
Updated Boom Box GTS to latest firmware
Checked WHIM for firmware, also latest available installed.

I checked my pals 21 FLHXSE and his one has no problems at all.

Any advise?

It sounds like the intercom was not enabled when the flash was performed for the WHIM. The dealer needs to do it with the Digital Tech.

 

Hi, I forgot to mention that I have my own DT (not the original one) and I am able to switch the WHIM on/off and also the interkom on/off.
I tried this but it did not work also.
But I would go to the stealer and have them check this if no other idears are coming up.

 

So you can't get to this screen? If not, I can only guess that your DT isn't saving the setting when you enable the intercom function.

Why not use the direct headset to headset Bluetooth connection? You do not need the boom connection.

 

Hi, I know that it will work this way but I paid 45k for this bike and it should be my decision which way I am using it. I will visit the dealer next week.
