Looking to move up to a larger Motorcycle
#41
My BIL owns an Electra Glide that he bought new in 2006, and it now has over 74,000 miles on it. It runs like new. No issues other than tires, brake pads, etc. He travels all over the U.S. on it. And he's a big boy, over 300 lbs. Don't be afraid of the Twin Cam 88". Personally, I like the "older" Harleys myself, the newer bikes look too metric for me.

I don’t know how you ride, but for me puttin’ around the mountains of Virginia:
Don’t let anyone tell you, you need more HP, a bigger axle, the latest frame.
Buy an older tc88 or an Evo… low mileage low price tag bikes are out there.
Enjoy the funk out of riding, put the extra dough into an low cost index fund. Have the bucks to buy another bike after you wear this one out!
Enjoy the riding!
