Fluid in forks make a big difference. Back when I had my Dyna I simply switched the fluid inside the stock front suspension and noticed a big reduction in front end dive, with improved ride quality.

End of the month? Where did you order it from? I ordered and installed the Truckmall brand off Amazon for just over $100 and they work exceptionally well and I got them in two days.

I'm working on heat and buffeting this weekend. I've tried fork fangs but found they made the felt heat worse (good news for winter). Next up in this effort are: DK Customs Tank Lift and Deflector Wings. I'm also going to install a Goldwing windshield vent to address buffeting (hopefully). The vent will go in my stock shield that I've hacked down to about 15" (was 20"). If that works, I'll adding he vent to my Freedom Shields 18."

Next on the list is the stereo and to install the front cartridges. Still need to dial in the FOXs that are install in the back. Looking at one of the low cost tour packs for when my old lady decided she want to go on a longer ride and needs more room then the rack can hold...

I finally decided to drop the coin on what will hopefully be my final, and "holy grail" seat for my bagger.....

Since my first bagger in 2012, I've been searching for that all day touring seat... While I've found a couple that are OK, I haven't found the all day comfort seat that will make me stop looking.....

On 8/10/22, I have a production date with Russell Day Long Seats... They already have my donor seat in hand, we've talked on the phone, and on the 10th, they start on my seat...

Nothing left now to do, but wait......

This has been my most expensive seat choice in this seat journey..... Russell Day Long is also the only seat I haven't found a complaint on, other than "looks"..

Fingers crossed..... We shall see.....

Will be installing new Magnum Shielding clutch and throttle cables later this week. Looking at a new cam in the fall to wake up that old TC88. So many options out there and I’m still researching for my old-man riding style.

My next upgrade is the second part of my main upgrade - the cam, bearings, pushrods, tappets, performance carby kit. Next year I might think about doing the heads etc.

That's a very good mod. I added the same to my King 3 or 4 years ago following advice from this forum. It's the little things like the peddle extension that all add up for a better ride.
