Pics of your chopped tour pak
My wife misses the wrap around backrest I had on my Ultra trunk. I am thinking of buying a chopped tour pak with the wrap around for my RK for when she goes with me. Don't really need the storage but would like to be able to put it on when she goes. Already have the docking hardware so it would pop on and off.
Would like to see some pics of bikes with the chopped tour pak.
Thanks

In all seriousness though, if you're doing it for her comfort, the taller the back rest, the more comfortable it will be.

Personally, (when I bought this bike it was already on) but... If I was going to buy one for use when my wife was riding, I would 100% get the king tour pack with the wrap around back rest. My wife misses it too and she's not a fan of the wedge back rest. If you are going to buy a tour pack anyway, just buy the king pack and get the wrap around backrest. I personally think the wrap around back rest looks to large on a shopped tour pack. What are you really saving if you get the chopped pack vs the king pack? Just my $.02

On the stock Chopped backpad, it sucks rocks
I did a Chopped up on a solo setup and was using it for my "back rest", but the damn pad felt like a rock between my lower shoulder blades. So I took the back pad off and took it to a local seat shop and had them add 3" of a good memory foam to the upper part of the pad, and had them add 2" or 3" inches of a bit stiffer foam to the "flap" at the bottom, and then they made a new cover for it too... day and night difference, and I think they charged me $100... But on the ride home (installed it in their parking lot), it felt a little weird... so when I got home I pulled all the staples out and took the covering off the top section, then took an electric filet knife and cut a little concave in it, to kinda fit the curve of my back side to side. I "sanded" the foam where I had cut it as smooth as I could get it, then took a sheet of soft 1/4" foam and put it over the freshly cut surface (to keep any imperfections/rough areas from showing thru the seat cover)... and now its perfect, for me, and really comfortable. But it ain't the wrap-around, and some ladies just like the wrap around...
Another thing to consider with the wrap-around from the King, the bottom part of the king tour pack is 3" deeper than the bottom of a Chopped, however the lids are the same except for the drill pattern for the back rest... Is the wrap-around going to hit on the seat when its mounted to a Chopped tour pack that sits 3" lower than a King tour pack? I don't know the answer to that...

Thats what I was looking for to see how it sits in relation to the seat. I was lucky enough to get a oem wrap around backrest off ebay now just get the tourpack. A buddy owns a body shop and he said he could match the paint for me. Thanks for the pics. She will like that a lot better than the current set up and with the docking hardware it just pops on and off 👍
