Default Suggestions - puttiin on a parking permit.

I have to take a couple of classes at a collage here in town. They gave me a parking permit that is adhesive and designed to stick to the inside of a windshield. I'm trying to avoid sticking it to the windshild of my Road King. Any one solved this problem before?

3M sells a material that protects paint from stones, but is transparent and removable. Place the sticker under the film and place the film on your fork tin.

Get one of the lanyards with the plastic pouch like they have at concerts or sporting events and hang it from your mirror.

ORIGINAL: LeadDoggy

attach permit to plexi glass then attach to bike
I did almost this when I had to have a "Base Decal". I went to the local hobby shop and got an 8.5 X 11 sheet of medium-stiff clear plastic. Cut a rectangle to size (+) a bit extra on one edge, stuck the decal on the gizmo, and then trapped that extra bit on the edge between the backside upright brace and the lexan with the decal facing front.

what i did was to take a clear, straight sided, shampoo bottle. after draining it out, i cut it to size, with a slit from top to bottom. i then stuck the decal on it, wrapped it around my upper crash bar, and then zip tied it into place. works great, no one has ever said anything, and you can remove it if you want and then replace it later.

best idea right here. Go to Home Depot, get some sticky backed magnets. Put sticker on magnet. Stick magnet to fender. It worked with my base decal and my parking permit at the unviversity. And, when I want to go cruising, I just remove it. No residue, no unbolting.

Man, too many good ideas. Hummm, I think I'll try the shampoo bottle thing, first.

Thanks all
