In a RG Forum thread about this subject, some stated, "In 14" tall bars the Yaffe are 1.5 inches taller than the factory 47."

Can anyone else confirm this to be accurate?

 

Yaffe Bars tend to run taller than others so the Yaffe Monkey Bars, for instance, measure 14" but are labeled as 12", whereas most other companies label a bar that measures 12" as 12".

All comparing both bars all day and talking to Factory 47, I decided to go with their Signature 14" chrome bars. Mark was really patient and helpful. I think I made the right decision. They look very similar to the 12" PYMB and are a 1/4" thicker.

 

The thicker bars are way easier to install, I do not care for how wide they are.
