Yea I got rid of the dzus fasteners a couple years ago, when one of them failed.

Just a heads up, and I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in the kit's instructions. The rear handle needs to be pointed downwards between 3 and 9 o'clock to avoid interference with the lid.
