The factory set up is nice with all the controls, I bought it just for a cross country trip of 8000 miles, I got the 3 months free, after the trip I sold the unit. Around town I have lots of stations for free. But it was great on the trip where no radio signal exist.

If you are looking for a factory one, this was just posted in the for sale.

Note the harness is different for a SG.

When I have no reception, I use the Ipod. Can't justify having service thoughout the winter months.

there is a guy in the classified section now selling his XM piece and harness for something like $300. i bought mine for $400 with the harness new selaed. IMHO it's worth it to keep it looking as generic as possible. prying eyes means prying hands if ya know what I mean....

+1 I think it's nice to have everything looking stock and working with the hand controls on the bars and all.

Is it just the receiver that plugs into the back of the stock HK head unit? Is the harness needed? On the H-D website, it looks like the module simply plugs into the head unit. Is that not the way it is? The non FL harness is over $100 at Zanottis web site.
