Just to be clear, I only posted that GW info in response to another comment. The metric to HD comparison filtered through a spec/capabilities filter would yield pretty one-sided results. I agree that Harley's reside in their own category that satisfies more than just a cold engineering analysis. The Harley's I've looked at so far have character whereas the metric bikes I've had were more appliance-like. They did a job well, but had no history. I'm also heavily influenced by my desire to start feeding American workers.
