Default I am looking for a new set of handle bars for my 04 Electra glide.

I want some tall apes or something but I need my hand to be in the right position I want my hand to be as straight as possible not twisted or at an angle. Any suggestions

If you want a narrow bar, look at either the FXR division or LA Choppers Cage Fighter. I decided on the Cage Fighters personally. I'll be putting them on HOPEFULY this weekend.

I used Wild 1

https://wild1inc.com/

I found the Outlaw bars keep my wrist in the straightest position, I do not like my hands turned like the old buckhorns. Good luck.

KST allow you to adjust the rotation as well as forward and back. Not the technical terms, I know, but I'm an idiot. I have 12" Spearheads, love them. Super adjustable and the guys at KST were awesome to deal with. It does help that their shop is only a 30 minute ride from my house on long twisting backroads

I found the best (for both comfort and control) position for your arms is slightly bent at the elbows. I know for me keeping my arms straight out was not comfortable at all, which is what my factory bars did and why I switched to apes in the first place. bent at the elbows and shoulder or slightly lower height. hands should be cocked at about the 11 and 1 o'clock positions if you know what I mean. have driven across country with the bike below several times and absolutely no joint pain, strain or fatigue of any kind.

I just installed the La Chopper 14" 2 pc cage fighters this weekend. The La Choppers FLH adapter was also used. I could have went with the FLT adapter and kept the ignition switch but with the loss of accessory and lock I figured I might as well just eliminate the switch and have the PCM switched to the CVO style. Thats getting done tomorrow at Timber Town Harley in Salem. For those who think the dealership time is too much, you haven't done this yet. Figuring out how to get all the wired pulled through was a pain in the ***.
I ended up using the 10" extension wires as mine just cleared the holes by a couple inches. You'll also need the extension for the heated grips if you have them.

Give KST Renegades a look, they are adjustable for width and pull back. Nice bars and their install video is super helpful the the DIY'er.
