This is a long shot but I think I may have an answer - Its gonna take some google time. At the 2019 Orlando Guitar SHow, I ran into a guy who sprays all sorts of custom finishes including hard candy. He showed me samples and the quality was really good. He sprays guitars BUT primarily he sprays bikes.. He's from north central Fla. One of the searches should be 'surf board metallic' I know this is slim but I hope it helps.

I know most capable painter can match the color. However, IMO the hard part is getting the metal flake right.

I know the Sportster 48 had the Hard Candy colors for a while and the metal flakes on that were large. This SGS seems to be a bit smaller but we'll see.

I don't know how anyone can paint a complex color like that without having the bike you are trying to match their and doing spray out cards to get the color to match over the differing base materials.

Plastic vs metal parts are not easy to get to match to start with, toss in a candy or a flake and all bets are off.

The only person I'd even ask for an opinion on the paint and application would be Bryan Dwight at www.bdscycles.com

I would highly recommend buying the parts and finding a painter to spray them for you. Advanblack is hit or miss in my opinion, and the packing will likely rub the paint during shipping and will then require a good buffing to clean up the finish.

I was hoping to find lower fairings for it, but can't seem to find the color anywhere (no option on ebay for example).
Maybe I have the color name wrong. Any advice? Outside of ordering unpainted parts, other options?
Appreciate the help.
I have the same bike(Hard candy hot rod red flake) Baddad can match the color, and its perfect!(they are an authorized HD paint dealer and use HD paints)

It DOES match.

I am happy to report that Advanblack parts just arrived from HK (way ahead of quoted delivery time) and they match perfectly and fit perfectly. I installed the lower fairings and battings. Very happy with them. I also got their smoke tour pack LED light and it seems to work (tested the connection but haven’t installed yet. Much better deal than the HD option which doesn’t have the complete hardness for this. Would definitely recommend Advanblack for the above if you are needing or considering parts from them. Thank you all for the recommendations. Much appreciated.
